November has been a busy month for the ladies of the Frederick Van Patten Chapter, NSDAR. Several Arkansas daughters, including our own Rebecca and Mary Kay, spent of couple of days in Washington D.C., touring the freshly restored Constitution Hall, among the other areas of the N.S.D.A.R. building. Another activity that the Frederick Van Patten Chapter partook in was the laying of a wreath of poppies on the Vietnam Memorial at the Courthouse Square. The daughters also partook in a community project of stuffing and wrapping Christmas boxes that are to be donated to the local VA hospitals. The Frederick Van Patten Chapter is blessed to has so many daughters who strive to be active within the chapter and community. The Frederick Van Patten Chapter would also like to give a special thanks to the staff of the Harding University Brackett Library for their assistance in putting together several Christmas boxes for the veterans. Their enthusiasm and efforts are greatly appreciated!
