On April 10, the Frederick Van Patten Chapter met virtually for the monthly business meeting. Junior Member Deena Reynolds gave a brief presentation on the DAR schools, their locations and goals, and how to support the schools. These schools included Kate Duncan School (KDS), Berry College, Crossnore School and Children’s home, Hillside School, Hindman Settlement School, Bacone College, and Chemawa Indian School. These schools can be supported through Amazon wish lists, Coca Cola donations, Box Tops, personal donations, and buying a school pin to help fund their many needs and necessities.

Afterwards, the chapter continued with the business portion of the meeting. It was voted that the May meeting will be a hybrid meeting, both in-person and virtual.
