March Meeting

Hello all! We had a small group that braved the weather and germs that met on the 14th for our March meeting. We had the pleasure of listening to Dr. Beth Wilson and become more educated in domestic violence in our county and town. She explained the many forms of violence, why someone may stay with their abuser, and what the programs are doing to help. She then opened the floor to answer any questions we may have had for her. All of us there benefited from her talk. If you suspect that you, or someone you know, might be in an abusive relationship, please read the attached handout and seek help. You are important.

Due to accordance with CDC and the government, the State Conference was cancelled, and the April meeting has also been cancelled. It was a difficulty decision for everyone involved but it was decided the health and safety of our members are first priority. We will keep everyone updated about the May meeting. Stay safe!
