November found us bustling with activities galore and we loved every minute of it! We started the month with a reception to honor not just veterans, but to especially pay homage to the ladies of our military. We had a wonderful turnout of female veterans, including our own State Regent. We were honored to be able to visit with these wonderful ladies and learn a little bit more about them and their service. We even held a drawing for one of the ladies to receive a quilt that was handmade by one of our members.

Next we were honored to participate in the laying of the wreath on the local Vietnam memorial on Veteran’s Day. Though it was a rainy day, we still wanted to show our gratitude for all that the soldiers had gone through.

Lastly, we were able to attend a lovely afternoon tea to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Little Rock Chapter and the 100th anniversary of the Centennial Chapter. What an amazing accomplishment both chapters have been able to achieve! Thank you for extending an invitation for us to join you in this celebration. It was a beautiful tea and we are so excited to reach this milestone!
