Welcome to Constitution Week! Constitution Week is celebrated September 17-23, with a focus on the importance of the Constitution and the freedoms it gives us. The NSDAR started this celebration in 1955 when the ladies petitioned Congress to dedicate September 17-23 as a time to observe and study the Constitution. It was later adopted and signed into public law in 1956.
We were fortunate in that several of our chapter members were able to meet with the Mayor and get a proclamation signed for Constitution Week.

We would like to encourage everyone to read (or re-read) a copy of the Constitution to refresh their memories on the privileges that we are allotted due to the foresight of our founding fathers.
Thank you for posting this , very good
