New National Administration

This year was a big year as the Dillon Administration came to an end. There are a few changes that come with each new administration. Most noted are the new national officers that have been sworn in.

The President General’s new theme is Rise and Shine for America, with her goals being to raise visibility of chapters in communities, increase membership by 10%, and work hard to demonstrate our diversity and inclusiveness by improving our public image.

The new Junior Member theme is “Juniors light up our life” withe new pins being a trio of fireflies. The sales from these pins goes to support the educational progress of local school through the Helen Pouch Grant Scholarship. (Please see you state Jr Chairman for more information).

The new pin that will be sold to support the continued education and funds of the DAR schools is a trio of fish with the theme “Hooked on DAR schools!” Please look for these pins at your state and district meetings.

We would also like to congratulate the Arkansas Daughters who are currently serving in National committees, and ones who were newly nominated to National committees. If you know any of these ladies (we all know at least one of them!) please congratulate them for their dedication and hard work to achieve these positions.
